He stretched out on his side beside Anakin, slowly and carefully so he didn't jostle the bed, settled his hand on Anakin's chest and -

"I think I can do that."

-and then used the force to press against Anakin, even and gentle but solidly there.

It was the comfortable distance between restraint and surrender. The former was forced on him, the latter was a matter of consent.

He signed both physically, and in the Force, like he was melting into Obi-Wan. It was the perfect level of vulnerability and he hoped Obi-Wan realized it.

"I've missed you," he said, turning his face into Obi-Wan's hair. "Maybe I should get injured more often?"

The sigh and way Anakin just... relaxed into him in the Force and physically were really, really satisfying and made him smile a bit.

Until that last remark alarmed him, even if only mildly. "You should absolutely not get injured more often." Though - "I've missed you, too."

Words.

He really was learning words.

Anakin's smile reflected in the Force. "Okay," he conceded. "Maybe not... but how can I get you to do this to me more?"

And to say more words like that?

With the Fore, because his arms were nicely weighted down, he teased his thoughts through the hair at the nape of Obi-Wan's neck.

He made a contented sound at the contact to the back of his neck, but he also answered the question once he realized what the question was-

or rather the slightly greater implications.

"You ask and you make it clear that you're asking because you like it, rather than making it about me." It's gentle but - Doing this, for those reasons? Didn't create the feedback loop of guilt.

"As long as we still do stuff you want... every once in a while." Anakin wondered if it was residual Jedi programing or Obi-Wan's recent bout with the Dark Side that was fueling his reluctance to do things focused on him. Maybe it was both. Anakin didn't have to ask right now.

Instead, he let himself wonder about something different - he wondered if he could manipulate the Force to make the act of messing about with Obi-Wan's hair feel a bit like fingernails lightly dragging across Obi-Wan's scalp, like he would do if he had mobility of his hands.

He thought about how his hands moved when carding through Obi-Wan's hair and tried to transfer that into what he was doing with the Force.

A lot of it was Jedi programming, but it was still pretty complicated. He wanted to do this, but he was okay with wanting to do it because Anakin also wanted him to and benefited from it. It wasn't... something inherent about himself that he had to question, examine, and worry about his motives for or the morality of.

It was just taking care of Anakin and loving Anakin and that? That was okay (now).

He wasn't sure What Anakin was doing at first and looked (and was) pretty confused but once Anakin worked out how to do it right he made a soft, entirely happy sound and kissed Anakin's temple. "That's an impressive amount of fine control and feels wonderful; we are doing things I like. We're doing them right now."

"Necessity is the reason for invention," Anakin beamed back at Obi-Wan. With his arms being contained by Obi-Wan, Anakin really only had the Force left to manipulate.

If Obi-Wan liked this, he wondered if his clothes would be a hindrance. And the only way to find out was to try. He started trying to tease the man's skin right at his collar.

"What else do you like?"

He shivered a little at the phantom touch just under his collar. He also leaned in and kissed Anakin, slowly and softly.

Then pulled back, looked him in the eyes and smiled, gently.

"I like not having to think too much about what I like for the sake of liking it, right now, and instead focusing on what I like doing with you."

A different time and universe and he might have started singing let it go.

For that answer, Anakin grinned at Obi-Wan and imagined himself messing up Obi-Wan's hair with the Force.

But he grew serious for a moment (as serious as he could be on drugs and the high of feeling Obi-Wan happy next to him).

"Thank you for saving me." He would ask Obi-Wan later how he felt about killing Maul, for now, they could just be happy.

He made a soft sound that was one part refusal of the thank you and three parts love, then settled in to encourage Anakin to sleep.

Sleep and heal, whether in actual sleep or healing trance.

He stayed close while Anakin did that, stayed quiet, stayed... largely level, centered, and calm all the way back to Tatooine. It wasn't even work to do that, but once back on that dusty, sandy, hot or cold and nothing between the two, planet he relaxed a little more all the same.

"It really is starting to feel like home."

"Shhhh," Anakin said, coming up behind Obi-Wan - not a stealth hug by any means, Anakin was still moving quite slow for him these days - and wrapped his arms around Obi-Wan.

"Don't say scary things," he hummed in Obi-Wan's ear. But he was smiling, because really, for him, anywhere Obi-Wan was that's where home was for him. If it started to look like Obi-Wan was going to make Tatooine his permanent home, he'd beg Bail for help. But until then, he wouldn't argue too fiercely.

He leans back a little into Anakin's arms, though there's no weight all that gets transferred onto the younger man. It does, however, still enable him to look over his own shoulder and up a bit to look at Anakin.

"But it's always so quiet."

He knows all of Anakin's memories are bad ones, but it's just so... peaceful out here.

Anakin closed his eyes and let himself enjoy Obi-Wan enjoying the moment.

He laughed softly. Where, when all of this war-making was done, were they going to find a place that both fed Anakin's need for excitement and Obi-Wan's need for peace and quiet?

"Could go down to Mos Espa and watch a pod race. Then you can experience just how loud Tatooine can be."

He dropped one of his hands to Anakin's arm and pulled it a little more securely around himself.

"You could enter a pod race, before we go back. Then I could have a heart attack and we wouldn't have to worry about how quiet or loud it is."

He was teasing. He was....

Honestly so deeply content and at peace in this exact moment.

"You know how capable I am at flying, why would you have a heart attack?" Anakin gently teased.

He found that spot behind Obi-Wan's ears with his nose and then his mouth.

He groaned softly, but he also retaliated by lifting Anakin's hand and placing a warm, wet kiss on the inside of his wrist and ended with a super soft scrape of teeth.

"I don't know," he murmured. "I know how capable you are with a sword and you seem to have a spinal implant, now."

"No one would be trying to kill me with a lightsaber," he huffed against the skin of Obi-Wan's neck.

But he didn't have anything more to say after he felt Obi-Wan's teeth graze against his wrist. All he could really do, after gathering his bearings, was add teeth of his own against Obi-Wan's neck.

The sound that came out of Obi-Wan at that was pure, uninhibited, sex. Just absolutely sensual enjoyment.

"No. It's more dangerous."

Still conversing politely and with an even tone, though. And carrying on with: "I think this is the first time I've enjoyed you being taller than me."

Anakin's response was instantaneous and all in his cock. He moaned as he shifted his hips against Obi-Wan's ass.

"I can keep going." Though eventually they'd probably have to take this to the bed, he probably didn't have the strength or the stamina to do sex standing up.

"I don't know if I trust your back that much." Lying down would be a good idea but he didn't want Anakin hurting himself. "Let's go to bed and curl up together, anyway. The contact is... good." Even feeling Anakin's arousal sent a flush of warmth through him that was one part arousal and one part pure love and trust.

With the tiniest bit of reluctance, Anakin rolled his hips one more time, enjoyed the friction, and then pulled away, tugging Obi-Wan with him.

"We should have asked Bail for a better bed," he said, amused. "I might be better standing."

The way Obi-Wan didn't check himself at all but arched back and slightly up into that roll of Anakin's hips said.. a lot about his mental state.

"The mattress isn't that bad, but if it causes you pain I can help. Or we can find some medication."

He ...worried.

"I'll be fine," Anakin casually brushed off Obi-Wan's worry. He knew it was Obi-Wan's nature to worry, so he took it upon himself to balance that out by not worrying.

"I want to... try a few things. I think you'll like them."

He was in a pretty mellow mood overall. His eyebrow (and interest) went up at mention of trying things, and he was more than willing but even in the process of lacing his fingers through Anakin's to move toward the bed:

"All right, but if anything hurts you, we stop. So no blocking me out entirely in the Force, please."
