"Is it a nap?" He kind of hoped it was a nap, but he was also still very agreeable. He wrapped his fingers around Anakin's, held his hand and followed him inside.

"I can give it to you in bed," Anakin said.

Once inside, he stopped briefly to clean up before stripping for bed. On the way back he grabbed the two crystals he'd wrapped in wire and strung on cord. He met Obi-Wan back at the bed.

He held out the crystal from his lightsaber for Obi-Wan to take.

"You keep mine, and... I'll keep yours." He held Obi-Wan's crystal back in his hand.

He reached out his hand to take it before he consciously registered the words, though of course the crystal felt familiar.

Once the words did register he looked up at Anakin with a... almost bewildered expression that gradually turned into a smile. He didn't need an explanation for this. He understood- and a big part of what he understood was, however circular, that Anakin understood.

He wanted to cry. Instead he closed his hand around the blue crystal and knelt up so he could kiss Anakin, slowly and with so much love it made his chest hurt.

Even if love wasn't named.

Anakin was a little bit surprised at Obi-Wan's reaction, mostly because the man was so measured all the time (a stark comparison to him who leaked a different emotion every minute). But he kissed the man back with equal passion.

He moved to kneel on the bed with Obi-Wan, smiling, kissing, smiling. "You're ridiculous, but I don't want you to change."

He was, but this meant a lot to him. Some of the things it meant, Anakin might not even have intended and Obi-Wan wouldn't have been able to express in words. Things about love and faith and -

He didn't know, but a lot.

He quirked a faint smile. "I'm glad because I don't think I can. Now lie down and nap with me, please." Though he paused to put the 'necklace' on and tuck it inside his tunic before he laid down.
